It is these voices that have something to say, and they lead the way out of the fog. These voices matter, and they become the voices of reason that remedy the herd mentality madness and mass formations.

Art and Soul

Now, this being a digital arts and culture periodical I do intend to narrow my focus. 

Of primary concern, I’m sharing art and ideas here and making connections with people- I intend to do this successfully.

But being a slave to keywords ain’t got no soul. It’s a hollow existence, devoid of creativity and passion.

It’s like being a robot churning out content for the sake of search engine rankings, rather than connecting with real people.

As a result, the internet is flooded with a sea of generic, formulaic content that lacks the very essence of what makes content truly valuable: depth, emotion, perspective, authenticity- aka Soul.

Authenticity is the key to creating great art. It’s easy to sniff out the fakes. The counterfeits lack the divine spark of the spirit with all it’s quirks.

Whether it’s through art, music, writing, or simple conversations, authenticity is what makes, what we have to offer rare and valuable.

The  Great Divide: Don’t be a Poser

In a world where everyone’s vying for attention, it’s our distinct voice that sets us apart from the crowd. It’s the unique blend of tone, perspective, and personality that shines through , making us relatable.

Clearly, genuine voices are unapologetically raw and real, reflecting the complexities and imperfections that make us who we are.

They’re the voices of fearless individuals who dare to be themselves, quirks and all.

They don’t shy away from expressing lifes harsh realities.

In contrast, manufactured voices often come across as polished but generic and bland, lacking the depth and character of real voices. The fakes seek to sugar coat everything they say and tell you what they think you want to hear.

But what happens when we try to reject our own unique voice for one reason or another? Do we lose our souls? Perhaps.  What is clear though, is that we fail to stand out and distinguish ourselves form the crowd and become just another faceless drone.

Contrarians Rule

Therefore, by shedding the pretenses and embracing our genuine selves, we can tap into a sense of freedom and empowerment that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s a liberating feeling that comes from not giving a fuck about judgment or rejection.

While modern society celebrates sameness, it’s the contrarian the takes the prize. It takes courage to be ourselves, but it’s also what makes our voices truly unforgettable.

By going against the grain, we can stand out and make our mark.

Fuck Robots

Let’s face it, search engines are a business, and like any business, they want to give their customers what they want.

From Panda to Penguin, and from Hummingbird to BERT, each update has been aimed at filtering out the noise and surfacing the best content for users.

And what do customers want? They want content by real people, with authentic voices and perspectives.

Nobody wants to wade through a sea of AI-generated crap that’s been optimized to death.

Thus, that’s why I I think that, in the end, real people with unique voices and perspectives will come out on top.

And because they’re in short supply, they’re in high demand.

It’s not about gaming the system or finding ways to trick the algorithm. It’s about being authentic and about creating something that’s genuinely valuable, informative, and engaging.

So, don’t just sit back and let the machines take over. Take control of your own voice, your own perspective, and your own creativity.
