Well, we survived the infamous Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, which took place from November 26 to December 15, 2024, and its post-shadow, which finally lifted yesterday on December 31- so we are in the clear for now.

Here for your schadenfreude I will share some personal retrograde incidents gone awry.
In my article ⚠️ WARNING: Mercury Retrograde is Here! Don’t Get Caught Off Guard, I suggested that it might be a good time to back off from new projects and spend more time in nature exercising and getting fresh air.
Well, that backfired. A heavy weight fell on my toe from a shelf. Consequently, forcing me to halt all my fitness goals.
Luckily, it didn’t break, but I had to stay off it for a few days to avoid making it worse.

After the retrograde, I was able to walk on it, even though it still hurt, but I couldn’t run or jog. Moreover, only after the post-retrograde shadow has lifted, am I back to jogging, running, and working out.
Additionally, the retrograde also brought some unexpected surprises: An ex whom I hadn’t spoken to in over a year and a half found me on IG, suggesting that we should “hang out”.
I tried to explain the retrograde to her and that she’s crazy but she didn’t get it. She replied that I’m insensitive and a jerk.
I replied, “Did you not understand the thing I said about Mercury moving backwards?”
She told me to go f myself. I said “this is some retrograded shiat you won’t know what came over you in just a few days!”
Haven’t heard back; that was that; all is well.
🌙 The New Moon
Notably, the Post Mercury Retrograde 2025, and the new moon corresponding to the beginning of the new year this year is significant.
The new moon is the time to plan, and since it’s the beginning of the year, it’s an auspicious time to start fresh.
Now that the Mercury shadow is lifted, everything seems to be moving along again. I know you can feel it – there’s energy in the air, a kind of acceleration forward.
Hence, things will be happening rapidly, and it’s essential to adjust to the forward momentum, just as we had to adjust to the setbacks during the retrograde.

The Mercury retrograde may be over for now, but don’t get too comfortable – the devil gets bored. Unfortunately, Mercury will go rouge a few times more this year but it won’t be as intense.

• March 14 to April 6: Prepare for a month of glitches, communication breakdowns, and general chaos.
• July 17 to August 10: Summer just got a whole lot more interesting. Buckle up for a wild ride .
• November 9 to 29: Just when you thought it was safe , things gonna git retrotarded again.

But the cosmic synchronicity, and the forward motion get wilder.
Especially important, the upcoming new moon coincides with Chinese New Year, marking a significant cosmic alignment under the yin year of the Wood Snake.
The first day of the Chinese zodiac year is also the Start of Spring In China Standard Time and the beginning of the Tiger month. The Snake symbolizes wisdom, intelligence, and insight, with its ability to shed its skin.
It’s associated with ambition and adaptability, and is considered a Traveling Star in Chinese astrology, implying business trips and travel.
