In the Vedas, it says that we are currently living in the age of Kali, also known as the age of quarrel and confusion. Just great. This era is characterized by chaos, disorder, lies and lots of plastic, plastic people even.

During this time, our senses can be easily deceived, leading to misconceptions and misunderstandings known as Maya. Maya may mean illusion or delusion. Fear not, there are ways to see through the fog.

We possess other faculties beyond our physical senses. Senses not so easily deceived. Inner faculties that can transcend logical reasoning, allowing us to access knowledge directly; Letting us see past the lies.

Often in times of crisis or distress we tap in. Not having a better way forward is the top Reason to Trust Your Intuition.

These faculties enable us to have a deeper awareness, bypassing rationality and providing critical insight. While some many remain skeptical, most have had the experience of following their gut feeling.

Many people claim to possess and actively use intuition as well as precognition, and clairvoyance and remote viewing. Swearing by their ability, they claim to tap into extra sensory perception. If true, this changes everything. Insight is a game changer, insight is gold.

Take the word insight into consideration. Its composed of “in-” (meaning “within” ) and “sight” (meaning “to look” or “to see”).

Similarly, the word “intuition” comes from the Latin word “intuitus,” which is the past participle of “intueri,” meaning “to look at” or “to contemplate.” This Latin word is a combination of “in-” (meaning “in” ) and “tueri” (meaning “to look” or “to see”)- i.e innervision.

There are many Reasons to Trust Your Intuition- insight is gold.

Inner Vision and the Curse of Cassandra

Cassandra was princess of Troy, the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba.

When she was a girl she played in and around the open air temple of Apollo in Delphi. One night, it is said that, she fell asleep in the temple.

As she slept, Apollo noticed her and sent a snake that licked her ear. When she awoke she had the power of precognition.

Later she would grow up to be a beautiful young woman. Still frequenting the temple, she again caught Apollos eye. He fancied her and attempted to seduce her. When she rejected Apollo’s advances, he became enraged and cursed her gift of precognition.

From that day on, whenever Cassandra tried to warn others of impending doom or share her visions, they would mock her and dismiss her warnings, refusing to take her seriously. She became an object of ridicule. They labeled her as mentally ill.

Thereafter, Paris, the long-lost prince of Troy, who had been living as a shepherd far from home, estranged from his family and unaware of his royal heritage, was discovered and returned to Troy, the city of his birth.

As the Prince arrived at the gates, Cassandra was suddenly seized by a precognitive vision of the catastrophic fate that awaited their city. She saw flames engulfing Troy, people burning in the streets and the ruin that would be wrought by Paris’ return.

Overcome with terror and urgency, she let out blood-curdling screams, her eyes went wild with madness. “Kill him!” she shrieked frantically, her voice echoed through the halls of the palace. “Kill him, or Troy will burn to ashes!”

Falling to her knees, her hands clasped together in a frantic plea, she begged her family and the people of Troy to heed her warning and kill him. But instead of listening, they recoiled in horror, convinced that she had finally and completely succumbed to insanity. They welcomed Paris back with open arms, ignoring Cassandra’s frantic warnings and sealed their fate and the fate of the doomed city.

In my opinion, the curse’s impact could be mitigated. Rather than trying to convince others, she would have been better off keeping her prophecies to herself and taking action accordingly-getting out of town, thereby avoiding the tragedy.

Alternatively, she could share her prophecy with others just once, and if they responded with laughter and ridicule- so be it. She could consider herself absolved of responsibility. At least she would have the satisfaction of knowing she tried to warn them, and her conscience would be clear.

She tried to warn them but they called her crazy. From this we can see that if people think your crazy you might be on to something. Either way she was better off for knowing -she should have bugged out of town immediately.
